Dave's Hot Chicken
Sumter 1135 Broad St., Sumter, SC 29150 ↗Freestanding and set back from the road with its own parking field, this Dave's Hot Chicken in Sumter includes a drive-thru lane and a covered patio. Wood-toned paneling and red trim wrap the exterior between full-height murals, while the dining room pairs the same murals with exposed red ductwork and wood tabletops. A separate pickup shelf by the side door keeps mobile orders apart from the counter. The layout separates dine-in, walk-up pickup and drive-thru orders, so three types of customers move through without crossing paths.
